The mission of Second Story is to help people take the next step in their story with Jesus. We've had the opportunity to partner with other like-minded organizations and missionaries to help spread the Gospel. 

Meet Second Story's International Missionary Family: The Lindgrens!

Second Story Church is proud to help support this incredibly family. JP, born and raised in Minnesota, came with his wife Lídia to Second Story Church a few years ago just as we were beginning to plant Second Story. Soon after, the family decided to make Second Story Church their U.S. church home. JP and Lídia work with Youth With A Mission (YWAM) in Brazil, where Lídia is from. They prepare, partner and persevere with the people of sport to reach their God-given destiny. Their vision is to see the people of sport as transformational, their identities in Christ and Christians drive the redemption process that allows Sport to reach its full potential.

 

In their time back in Minnesota this last year, Lídia has become a U.S. Citizen! They have been an integral part of church by leading our mid-week program and assisting with our social media platforms. We are so grateful for their love for Jesus and their desire to spread God's word. To learn more about this amazing family, check out their website below. Please continue to pray for them throughout the next few months as they transition back to Brazil on November 8th.

ESTHER Homes

ESTHER Homes is a St. Paul based ministry that Second Story Church has partnered with for the last 3 years. This wonderful organization walks alongside pregnant women experiencing crisis by providing housing and resources within a community of support.

He continues to meet us where we are at and strengthens us where we are. He gives hope in all circumstances.We believe that caring, dependable relationships are the way to family stability. We give practical support, advocate for mothers’ goals and dreams, offer encouragement when life feels overwhelming, and celebrate strengths and milestones."

 

Please continue to pray for this organization as new mamas and babies are entering into their care. In addition to praying for current families, please lift up all the alumni familes that have been a part of this beautiful organization.
